Softball Recap: Tell City Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Tell City came out on top against Princeton on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Marksmen took their game against the Tigers 6-1. For the Marksmen, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Tell City's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Princeton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tell City will face off against Springs Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Princeton, they will square off against Tecumseh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
