Basketball Game Preview: Monterey Plainsmen vs. Palo Duro Dons

The Monterey Plainsmen will head out to square off against the Palo Duro Dons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monterey is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Monterey came up short against Lubbock-Cooper and fell 63-56.

Meanwhile, Palo Duro unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tascosa.

Monterey's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-18. As for Palo Duro, their loss dropped their record down to 25-4.

Monterey ended up a good deal behind Palo Duro when the teams last played back in January, losing 79-62. Can Monterey avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
