Baseball Recap: Prescott Takes a Loss

Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Camden Fairview Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 back in March.

Marketric Mixon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Owen Glass also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Prescott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Camden Fairview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prescott will take on Bismarck at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camden Fairview, they will venture away from home to face off against Junction City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
