Baseball Recap: MAST Charter II Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact MAST Charter II can now relate to. They came up short against the Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers on Thursday, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Voyagers couldn't push the score so high this time.

MAST Charter II saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Moran, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another was Shane Twyman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

MAST Charter II's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

MAST Charter II does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Masterman at 3:15 p.m.
