Decatur suffered their closest defeat since March 30, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. Clair County Fighting Saints by a score of 5-3. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Decatur now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Clair County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Decatur will look to defend their home field on Monday against Florence at 4:30 p.m. As for St. Clair County, they will head out to take on Albertville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
