Baseball Recap: Norristown Eagles vs. Upper Perkiomen Indians

Norristown had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 4-12 to make it four. They lost 10-0 to the Upper Perkiomen Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in March.

As for Upper Perkiomen, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

For Upper Perkiomen's part, Jackson Long was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Long a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
