Volleyball Recap: Wesleyan Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Wesleyan won the last time they faced Mount Vernon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves skirted past the Mustangs 3-2.

Wesleyan was led to victory by Emily Miller and Allie Godfrey. Miller had 11 digs and seven aces, while Godfrey had 36 digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Miller a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Phillips, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Wesleyan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 24-20.

Looking ahead, Wesleyan will venture away from home to take on Mount Paran Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mount Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
