Basketball Recap: Boaz Gets the Win

Boaz won the last time they faced Douglas and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Boaz Pirates came out on top against the Douglas Eagles by a score of 25-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Boaz's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Douglas, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Boaz will head out on the road to face off against Sardis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sardis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Boaz likes a good challenge. As for Douglas, they are taking a road trip to challenge Susan Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Susan Moore will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Douglas surely won't give up without a fight.
