Baseball Recap: Lehi Pioneers vs. Skyridge Falcons        
        
		
            
 On Friday, Lehi faced Skyridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Lehi Pioneers were the clear victor by  a  10-3 margin over the Skyridge Falcons. This was a revenge  match for Lehi, as the team was forced to settle for  an  11-5 loss when these two played  last Wednesday.
 Lehi got a great performance from  TJ Peterson as he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   nine  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Tanner Heaps was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Dawson Brown, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 On Skyridge's side,  Isaac Johanson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Miles Robinson, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and  an  RBI.
 Lehi's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-9. As for Skyridge, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehi will take on Westlake at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Lehi is facing Westlake at the right time seeing as Westlake is stuck on  a  13-game losing streak. As for Skyridge, they will be playing at home against Pleasant Grove at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Pleasant Grove will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Skyridge surely won't give up without a fight.
