Basketball Recap: Barringer's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Barringer posted their closest victory since December 16, 2023 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 win over the Shabazz Bulldogs. For the Blue Bears, this counts as revenge for the 67-51 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Barringer's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Shabazz, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Barringer will head out on the road to square off against Glen Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shabazz, they will challenge West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Orange will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shabazz surely won't give up without a fight.
