Havelock has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 13. They lost 6-1 to the D.H. Conley Vikings on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Havelock can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 275th, while D.H. Conley are ranked 128th).

Havelock's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for D.H. Conley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Havelock will venture away from home to face off against East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for D.H. Conley, they will take on J.H. Rose at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. J.H. Rose will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something D.H. Conley surely won't give up without a fight.
