Game recap: Clarence's long winning streak snapped by Jamestown high school football team

Jamestown (N.Y.) snapped Clarence (N.Y.)'s 4-game winning streak, with a 27-21 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Lex Oakes touchdown pass to Emaure Williams, the Red Devils went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Red Raiders took the lead for good with a Jacob Sisson touchdown pass to Zach Panebianco in the third quarter.

Oakes made a difference for Clarence. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.

Jamestown's standout player in the win was Sisson. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.



When the two teams played each other last season, JHS came away with a 40-13 victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for Clarence, which notched a 35-11 victory over West Seneca West in its previous outing.
