Basketball Game Preview: La Porte Slicers vs. Valparaiso Vikings

La Porte hasn't had much luck against Valparaiso recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The La Porte Slicers will be playing at home against the Valparaiso Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

La Porte took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They secured a 47-41 W over Concord.

Meanwhile, Valparaiso entered their tilt with Munster on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They snuck past the Mustangs with a 57-53 win.

Valparaiso's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for La Porte, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
