            Volleyball Recap: Wayne Trace Raiders vs. Paulding Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Wayne Trace was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paulding Panthers. The Raiders were not able to make up for their  loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 23-25,  25-19.
 Lexi Moore paced Wayne Trace's offense, picking up 12 kills. Moore got some help from  Olivia Zartman and her 13 assists. Finally,  Moore was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
 Leading Paulding to victory were  Addison Shull and  Tori Schlatter.  Shull  had seven  digs and two  aces, while  Schlatter  had 24  digs and nine assists. What's more,  Schlatter also posted a 20%  hitting percentage, which is the highest she's  achieved since back in October of 2024.
Wayne Trace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Paulding, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne Trace will face off against Crestview at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Paulding, they will square off against Miller City at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
