Volleyball Recap: Lake Wales' Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Lake Wales had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Roosevelt Academy Eagles on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Wales took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Miguel Binzha, who had 11 digs and one assist.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-11. As for Roosevelt Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Lake Wales didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lakeland on the 22nd. Roosevelt Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
