General Brown let La Fargeville stack four runs on them in the fifth inning on Tuesday but luckily General Brown prevailed anyway. The Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Knights 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

General Brown's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for La Fargeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

General Brown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Carthage on the 15th. As for La Fargeville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-2 victory against Belleville Henderson Central on the 15th.
