It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Abingdon/Avon can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Elmwood Trojans on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Abingdon/Avon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-29. As for Elmwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season.
