Volleyball Recap: Guy-Perkins Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Guy-Perkins walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunderbirds have posted since August 25th.

Guy-Perkins' win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Guy-Perkins will square off against Piggott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mohawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Thunderbirds surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Marshall at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
