Football Recap: St. Patrick Takes a Loss

After flying high against Benet Academy last Friday, St. Patrick came back down to earth. The contest between the Shamrocks and the St. Laurence Vikings didn't end well, with the Shamrocks falling 35-19. The Shamrocks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for St. Laurence, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, St. Patrick will square off against St. Rita at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Laurence, they will head out on the road to challenge Brother Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
