There's no place like home for Morgan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the North Branford Thunderbirds 3-2 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Morgan took North Branford into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 13-25, 24-26, 27-25, 15-11.

Sam Johnson and Brianna Kundrath certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Johnson had 11 digs, while Kundrath had six kills. Ashley Berardesca also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Morgan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for North Branford, they moved to 13-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Morgan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hale Ray on the 17th. As for North Branford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against East Hampton on the 17th.
