Basketball Recap: Ridgemont Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Ridgemont's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Temple Christian Pioneers by a score of 58-45. Given the Golden Gophers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Pioneers are ranked 573rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Temple Christian, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

When Ridgemont and Temple Christian next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ridgemont will face off against Upper Scioto Valley and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Meanwhile, Temple Christian will try to stop Ridgedale's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
