Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry suffered their closest defeat since April 22, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets by a score of 8-6.

Rosalyn Tharp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Madeline Infalvi was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Perry now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Perrysburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Perry will head out on the road to take on Kirtland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Perrysburg, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Ursula Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
