Softball Recap: Steelville Takes a Loss

Steelville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Potosi Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 10-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Steelville's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Potosi, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Coming up, Steelville will venture away from home to square off against Kingston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Potosi has already played their next contest (against Ava), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
