Basketball Game Preview: Marion Center Stingers vs. Ligonier Valley Rams + How To Watch

Marion Center is 0-6 against Ligonier Valley since December of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Stingers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Stingers fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They were the clear victors by a 65-44 margin over Cambria Heights on Thursday. The Stingers pushed the score to 48-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Highlanders cut but never quite recovered from.

Kamden Rozier had a dynamite game, putting up 26 points. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Fox, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Ligonier Valley didn't have too much trouble with Berlin Brothersvalley on Wednesday as they won 66-49.

Things could have been worse for Marion Center, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-48 loss to Ligonier Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can the Stingers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
