Huntingdon had won six straight road games and Kenton Smith did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Huntingdon Mustangs took down the Waverly Central Tigers 69-53 thanks to Smith, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least 16 points.

Braylin Dearmon was another key player, going 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Huntingdon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Waverly Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-15.

As of now, neither Huntingdon nor Waverly Central have any future games scheduled.
