The Riverside Christian Wranglers will venture away from home to square off against the Bell Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Riverside Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Key and fell 8-6. That's two games in a row now that the Wranglers have lost by exactly two runs.

Gabe Pate made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Miller, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Bell, as they earned their first road win of the season. They were the clear victor by a 15-1 margin over Hamilton County on Friday.

Jayden Lopez was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dean Glass, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Bell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-2. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only two runs. As for Bell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Riverside Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Riverside Christian suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Bell in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Riverside Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
