Football Recap: Penns Grove Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Penns Grove's offense. They were outmatched by the Pennsville Memorial Eagles and fell 43-0. The loss leaves the Red Devils still looking for their first win of the season.

Penns Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pennsville Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Penns Grove will square off against Delran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 4.8 points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pennsville Memorial, they will take on Paulsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
