The Villages Charter saw some tournament action on Monday. They escaped with a win against the King's Academy Lions by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffalo.

Leading The Villages Charter to victory were Herva Brutus and Zion Mcrae. Brutus shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Mcrae posted 19 points and three steals.

The Villages Charter's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for King's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
