Soccer Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul lost against Monrovia back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Paul Swordsmen fell just short of the Monrovia Wildcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Swordsmen have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Paul and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1. As for Monrovia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.

St. Paul will take on Charter Oak at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. St. Paul's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Monrovia, they will be home for the holidays to greet Duarte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
