 With a playoff game on the line, Cape Fear Christian Academy rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders  and snuck past  6-4. The  win was familiar territory for Cape Fear Christian Academy who now have ten in a row.
 Cape Fear Christian Academy got a big performance out of  Conner Parrish, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Zeke Brock, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Pungo Christian Academy's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Evan Woolard, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Wells Eagles was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI.
 Cape Fear Christian Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. As for Pungo Christian Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 10-9.
