Softball Recap: Burlington Township Falcons vs. West Deptford Eagles

On Friday, the Burlington Township Falcons earned a 9-4 win over the West Deptford Eagles.

Rylee Reid spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, JESSIE HAWS was excellent, going 3-for-5 with two runs and a triple. Another player making a difference was MADELYN ENT, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

As for West Deptford, they will head out on the road to take on Vineland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Vineland is coming into the matchup with eight straight wins at home, so West Deptford will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
