On Wednesday, Marquette Catholic needed a bit of extra time to put away Southwestern. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Piasa Birds 9-7. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 20, 2023, but that streak is no more.
