Telstar had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carrabec Cobras a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rebels have posted since May 20, 2024.

Telstar secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Connor Deprey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Telstar pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carrabec, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
