Basketball Recap: Elgin/Pope John Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Elgin/Pope John extended their postseason success on Saturday against Kenesaw. They came out on top against the Kenesaw Blue Devils by a score of 43-36.

Kenesaw's loss came despite strong showings from Maddox Wagoner and Adam Denkert. Wagoner posted 11 points and six boards, while Denkert scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Evan Rodriguez, who earned six points.

Elgin/Pope John has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. Kenesaw's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

As of now, neither Elgin/Pope John nor Kenesaw have any future games scheduled.
