Clinton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Pottsville Apaches with points to spare, taking the game 41-24. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Apaches, too.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Pottsville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Clinton will square off against Dardanelle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sand Lizards' defense has only allowed 7.2 points per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pottsville, they will be playing at home against Waldron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Apaches will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
