Bishop O'Connell had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Natalie Hobson did her part to make it 17 on Friday. Everything went the Knights' way against the Potomac School Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Hobson, who had four digs and one block. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Bishop O'Connell walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Potomac School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Gurney had eight digs and three assists.

Bishop O'Connell's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Potomac School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

As of now, neither Bishop O'Connell nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
