Open Door Christian had won two straight games and Sammy Comer did her part to make it three on Monday. The Patriots blew past the Laurel Gators 3-0 with plenty of help from Comer, who had 22 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Open Door Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Open Door Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Laurel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Open Door Christian will host Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laurel, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
