San Dieguito Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. The game between them and the Oceanside Pirates didn't end well, with the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs falling 69-55. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Oceanside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matix Agee, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 23 points and five boards. Agee is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tan Nguyen, who went 6 of 10 en route to 17 points and four steals.

San Dieguito Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Oceanside, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-11.
