Basketball Game Preview: South Paulding Spartans vs. New Manchester Jaguar

The South Paulding Spartans will square off against the New Manchester Jaguar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

South Paulding is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Rome just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 54-47 to the Wolves.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Manchester). They strolled past Villa Rica with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 82-63. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguar sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

New Manchester pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for South Paulding, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
