Baseball Recap: Lewis Cass Comes Up Short

Lewis Cass couldn't beat Rochester on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Kings fell 12-7 to the Zebras. The Kings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Zebras from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Lewis Cass' loss dropped their record down to 12-13. As for Rochester, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season.

Lewis Cass will venture away from home to take on Eastbrook at 5:03 p.m. on Monday. The Kings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Rochester, they will be playing at home against New Prairie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Zebras' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
