Volleyball Recap: Southwest Trojans vs. McAuley Catholic Warriors
Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAuley Catholic Warriors. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-13.
Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 6-25-2. As for McAuley Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.
Southwest will take on New Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McAuley Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
