Baseball Recap: Flowing Wells Takes a Loss

Flowing Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the Cienega Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 last Monday.

Flowing Wells saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Vanderlaske, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Flowing Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Cienega, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Flowing Wells will take on Casa Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cienega, they will challenge Nogales at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
