Leominster has gone 8-1 against Algonquin Regional recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Leominster might have lost, but man, Osiris Lopez was a machine: he threw for 200 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 116 yards on only ten carries. A healthy portion of Lopez's aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Jayden Wilbon.

Meanwhile, Algonquin Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Franklin 36-0.

Algonquin Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Leominster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Leominster against Algonquin Regional in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 40-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
