The Dunnellon Tigers will face off against the Lake Gibson Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Dunnellon took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Port 39-0 at home. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Wolf Pack are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lake Gibson never let their opponents score last Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 36-0 victory over Haines City.

Ashton Frazier was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards.

Dunnellon's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. As for Lake Gibson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
