Baseball Recap: Hemlock Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

While Hemlock's victory against Ithaca wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies' pitchers stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won five in a row.

Hemlock pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Ithaca, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.
