Softball Recap: Grosse Ile's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Grosse Ile was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Jefferson Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Grosse Ile saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly McNamee, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grosse Ile fell to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grosse Ile will face off against Airport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they will head out to square off against Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
