Volleyball Recap: Ridge Community Gets the Win

Ridge Community won the last time they faced Lake Region and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bolts walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunder.

Ridge Community can attribute much of their success to Jianielix Rodriguez, who had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Rodriguez has posted over her last 12 contests.

Rodriguez wasn't the only good servers: Ridge Community was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The Bolts are 8-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Ridge Community has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Lake Region, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.

Ridge Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against New Dimensions on the 7th. As for Lake Region, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Haines City on the 9th.
