The Loyola Cubs got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Mater Dei Monarchs' five.

Mater Dei's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Loyola, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Mater Dei does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loyola, they have already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Hart on the 19th.
