Basketball Recap: Prince George's Christian Academy Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against iSchool of Lewisville, Prince George's Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Legacy School of Sport Sciences Titans, sneaking past 86-84. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flyers have posted since February 23, 2024.

Prince George's Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Prince George's Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against R.W. Goines Stem Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Prince George's Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully R.W. Goines Stem Academy likes a good challenge. As for Legacy School of Sport Sciences, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against iSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
