Football Recap: Streator Comes Up Short

Streator was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Peotone Blue Devils 42-7. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Streator's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Peotone, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Streator is set to square off against their familiar foe Herscher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peotone will challenge rival Reed-Custer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
